Large Grass-yellow on Grassy-leaved Trigger-flower
Eurema hecabe, feeding on Stylidium graminifolium. Note the stamen of the flower just near the antenna of the butterfly, this "triggers" when an insect accesses the interior of the flower for nectar, and deposits pollen onto the head of the insect for distribution to other flowers, the trigger re-sets after a few minutes. This one was flowering in the Blackdown Tablelands National Park, near Blackwater.
