(Freesia leichtlinii), weed, imagine how excited I was when I (the Queensland boy) found the first one of these on the roadside whilst out hunting orchids, I've gone from "this must be a sun-orchid" to "I think this is an escaped house plant" in a few short minutes. Since we have sadly found acres of them everywhere there's been an abandoned settlement, photographed roadside, Kumarl, north of Salmon Gums, Western Australia, 21-8-22.
