(Certhionyx pectoralis). I first saw this bird on a cattle property about 100km north of Richmond in the Gulf Country of Queensland but wasn't quick enough to get a pic. We had just walked the Leliyn Trail which finishes with a crossing of the Edity River, the sound of hundreds of lorikeets and honeyeaters greeted us as we arrived at the crossing (the Fern-leaved Grevilleas were in flower) - amongst them were quite a few of these fellows. Finally photographed at Edith Falls, Nitmiluk National Park, Northern Territory.
